Grade: EX. 08

Job Location: Sentinel/Leer South Mining Complex (Philippi, WV)

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for the maintenance planning and scheduling support for the Leer South preparation plant.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Support the Sentinel Prep Plant's safety goals and processes
• Become proficient in and manage all aspects of the Ellipse maintenance system
• Maintain equipment registers, equipment service schedules, and equipment availability
• Maintain work orders and input required for equipment records
• Coordinate with warehouse personnel on warranty issues, core recovery, and parts ordering
• Maintain component information on all equipment for warranty tracking
• Maintain Ellipse reporting procedures and develop other reports as required
• Assist in developing a preventive maintenance program for each piece of equipment
• Assist in establishing a budgeting and analysis system for the Maintenance Department
• Establish for the Maintenance Department future planning, including manpower, skills needed, duration, materials, and reports
• Provide information through reports, graphics, etc. to the organization

MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Post-secondary education relevant to maintenance is preferred, i.e. Engineering, Trade School
• Maintenance skills as mechanic, electrician, or welder
• General understanding of all maintenance functions
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills - ability to work with others
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Excellent computer and statistical software skills (Excel, Word, Micro-soft Project, PowerPoint, MIMS)
• Self-directed and self-motivated
• Ability to manage multiple and complex tasks with minimal supervision
• Team player that works with all crafts to coordinate work
• Ability to organize work in a logical manner
