Plant Operator Technician

GRADE:  ($29.90/hour)

 JOB LOCATION:    Sentinel / Leer South Mining Complex, Philippi, WV  

JOB DUTIES:

• This individual will be responsible for safely performing the following duties:
• General Plant Labor (i.e. Plant operator, floor walker, clean, maintenance, etc...)
• Inspection and preventative maintenance of all plant related equipment
• Assist Plant Supervisors and electricians with all repair work.
• Have a working knowledge of stockpile reclaim feeders
• Ability to operate dozers, loaders and haul trucks
• With demonstrated ability, this position can progress to loading trains, maintenance repair, plant troubleshooting and heavy equipment operation.

• Grease and clean equipment

 PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 years prior coal preparation plant experience preferred
• High school graduate or equivalent experience
• Electrician experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal /communication skills and the ability to work with others in a team environment
• Work ethic that allows him/her to demonstrate ability daily with minimum supervision
• Previous plant and/or general heavy maintenance experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated commitment to safety through previous performance history
