Job Location : Leer South Mining Complex, Philippi, WV

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:

To perform a wide range of administrative, building maintenance, and clerical functions at Leer South on a daily basis. This position will include daily face to face interactions with mine employees in order to ensure proper compliance and availability on PPE and supplies.

 RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Work with safety and purchasing for items required in lamp room (i.e. gas detectors, radio batteries, lights)
• Maintain building maintenance.
• Maintain MSHA and State compliance database
• Manage the bathhouse employees on their roles and responsibilities.
• Process daily production reports and enter in database
• Schedule and manage benefit days for bathhouse employees.
• Perform daily audits on methane spotters, proximity and lights.
• Manage and control all PPE.
• Perform clerical duties such as duplicating, filing, mailings, and routine tasks as requested
• Maintain Maintenance Pre-Op system

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of a High School diploma
• Associate's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
• Exceptional organization skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Competency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Familiarization with basic accounting principles
• Mature work ethic
