Leer South is looking for a Lead Warehouse Technician to join our successful team in Philippi, West Virginia.

Job Title: Lead Warehouse Technician

Grade: NX. 11

Job Location: Sentinel/Leer South Mining Complex (Philippi, WV)

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:

To perform diverse warehouse job functions to support the operating efficiency of the Leer South Mining Complex

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Establish and organize the warehouse
• Receive, stock, and inventory all incoming parts and supplies
• Operate various pieces of motorized equipment, including forklifts and front-end loaders.
• Process all receipts including purchase order ID and verify to slip.
• Research and reconcile receiving problems.
• Mine monitoring responsibilities.
• Inventory, issue and receive explosives.
• Utilize ELLIPSE extensively for Inventory Control
• Provides assistance to and serves as a "back-up" to the Warehouse Manager in his/her absence.

MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of five (5) years of Warehouse experience.
• Excellent Safety and Attendance record.
• Experience and proficiency with ELLIPSE, preferred.
• Be capable of safely and efficiently operating a forklift and front-end loader for long periods of time.
• Knowledge of mining equipment and supplies preferred.
• Must have demonstrated communication skills (written and verbal).
• Capable of repeatedly lifting 50 lbs chest high.
