Leer South is looking for a Bathhouse Attendant to join our successful team in Philippi, West Virginia.

Job Title: Bathhouse Attendant

Job Location: Sentinel/Leer South Mining Complex (Philippi, WV)

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:

To successfully maintain the overall cleanliness and organization of Leer South Mine Facility by performing a multitude of job duties on a daily basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Sweep and mop all areas of the building including foyer area
• Wax and buff floors throughout building when needed
• Empty all trash throughout the facility
• Dust tops of employee lockers
• Clean windows throughout building, including foyer area
• Clean, disinfect, and restock (soap, toilet paper, and paper towels) to all bathrooms
• Clean kitchen areas including sinks, counters, appliances, and drink coolers
• Extra cleaning to prepare for tours or special visits and during mine shut down periods
• Maintain Lamp room including charging spotters, radios, gas detectors, and proximity boxes
• Distribute and maintain PPE products to employees
• Do light maintenance work including changing light bulbs and filters
• Maintain outside of building including sweeping and shoveling sidewalks and landscape areas
• Ability to work extra shifts when asked
• Be safety conscious at all times
• Able to work unsupervised if necessary
• Able to follow all policies and procedures at all times
• Work well with all other team members
• Keeping a good and professional attitude at all times
• Taking pride in own work

MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of High School diploma or GED equivalent

POSITION WILL REPORT TO: Mine Superintendent
